Laborer - Paving

Peak Utility Infrastructure is an integrated engineering and construction company that serves the Electric, Natural Gas, and Telecommunications industries. We provide a full suite of engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance services, including repair, replacement, maintenance, and installation of natural gas, telecommunications, and electric infrastructure through our operating subsidiaries: SiteWise, Kelly Cable, Riley Brothers, 5 Star Electric, Superior Hydrovac and Superior Pipeline Services. The Laborer will work as part of a 2-person crew responsible for filling small patch areas in the street and sidewalk with asphalt and working with their crew to complete tasks for the day.

Requirements

• Assist crew leader in construction/reconstruction and maintenance work.
• Assist equipment operators, swamping, hand digging, raking asphalt.
• Work with specialized equipment including jackhammers, rotary drills, power actuated fasteners and other necessary tools.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Work safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers, and dump truck.
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
• Complete duties as assigned.
