Chef de pratique - Science de batiment

We are seeking a Building Science Engineer to join our team at Rimkus. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating existing buildings and design solutions to our clients' complex and unique problems. This is a fully bilingual French-English position, and the candidate must be fluent in both languages, verbally and written.

Requirements

• Degree in civil or building engineering from an accredited university
• Membership with or eligibility to join the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
• At least 15 years of experience in building engineering and structural restoration
• Experience in managing teams and training junior staff
• Experience in a consulting engineering firm is an asset
• Excellent communication skills in French and English
• Commitment to customer service and technical excellence
• Team spirit, independence and attention to detail
• Proven leadership and project management skills
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials and systems
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
