Electrical Inspector (South Africa)

RINA is hiring an Electrical Inspector in Cape Town, South Africa. The Electrical Inspector shall have a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in an equivalent role in the Energy sector.

Requirements

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in equivalent role in Energy sector
• Good knowledge of foreign languages (English mandatory, preferable French, Spanish)
• Good knowledge in the use of PC including software and applications
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of International Quality Standards and applicable design and construction norms and standards
• Knowledge and experience of major standards applied to Oil & Gas projects
• Certificates related to safety (e.g. BOSIET) for offshore projects
• Working knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice and regulations/legislation
• Knowledge of safety legislation and regulations
• Ability to perform well under pressure
