Apprentice Electrician

Rising Edge Group is seeking an Electrician Apprentice to assist with substation construction, install and maintain high voltage equipment, and develop work scopes and procedures. The position requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to the company's operating and maintenance safe work practices. The Electrician Apprentice will work on-site at the McKenzie, BC location and will have opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company.

Requirements

• Indoctrinated into Electrical or PSE trade
• Knowledge of the Alberta Electrical Utility Code (A.E.U.C Safety Codes Act) and Occupational Health and Safety rules as they relate to the PSE/Electrician role
• Valid Alberta Provincial Class 5 driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office, and computer-based test equipment
• Ability to meet pre-access Drug & Alcohol testing requirements
• Ability to work comfortably at heights
