Job Description
Rising Edge Group is seeking a Commercial Apprentice Electrician to assist in the installation and maintenance of high-voltage equipment in a substation. The role involves working with a Journeyman PSE/Electrician to install ground grids, power system equipment, and other related equipment. The position requires a valid Alberta Provincial Class 5 driver's license and knowledge of the Alberta Electrical Utility Code and Occupational Health and Safety rules.
Requirements
- Assist in day-to-day activities involved with substation construction
- Install ground grids, power system equipment's assembly, cable tray, low voltage cable pull and terminations, medium voltage Cable Pull and erection of structural steel
- Comply with Rising Edge Technologies operating and maintenance safe work practices, procedures and standards
