Rising Edge Group is seeking a Field Safety Advisor to evaluate and assess work environments, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and conduct inspections. The role requires 5 years of related construction experience and NCSO or equivalent level of training.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of related construction experience in a Health and Safety role
- NCSO or equivalent level of training years of experience, and skills necessary to thoroughly understand the health and safety hazards and controls
- Experience in the High Voltage Industry is a definite asset
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills is preferred
- Thorough understanding of Incident Investigation, conformance verification and Root Cause Analysis is an asset
- Ability to evaluate information to determine compliance with OH&S standards, Rising Edge Safety policies, etc. is needed
- Software experience in Microsoft Suite (Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook, ViewPoint, SiteDocs and TimeControl systems would be an asset
- Knowledge of COR and its requirements
- Current CPR/standard first aid training
- Valid Driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
