Ritter Communications is seeking a Facilities Engineer to ensure the reliability, resilience, security, and compliance of the company's critical infrastructure. The engineer will work collaboratively with facilities, security, network operations, and outside vendors to support safe, continuous, and high-performance operations.
Requirements
- Plan, design, install, and support critical infrastructure systems
- Perform configuration, installation, and testing of network equipment
- Manage DCN network and provide documentation
- Ensure proper function of critical power systems
- Oversee maintenance of company buildings and facilities
- Provide redlines and accurate as-built documentation
- Manage ZOHO tickets and NOC transition workflows
- Support budgeting and planning for network and facility repairs
- Configure facility alarms and conduct annual alarm testing
- Maintain documentation for compliance and audit purposes
- Contribute to emergency management and disaster recovery planning
- Collaborate with engineering teams on design changes and capacity planning
- Lead infrastructure upgrade projects from planning through execution
- Implement redundancy strategies to support high availability across critical systems
- Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Maintain a strong focus on safety in all operational activities
- Travel to customer sites, project areas, and other Ritter Communications locations as required
