Ecological Restoration Summer Internship

River Partners is seeking a qualified student intern to assist with habitat restoration projects on the Otay River in San Diego, CA. The internship involves collecting and analyzing plant and wildlife data, data entry and management, and a self-directed research project on riparian restoration. The internship is paid at $13/hr for 8 weeks and provides an opportunity to learn about large-scale horticultural restoration, vegetation monitoring techniques, and riparian ecology.

Requirements

• Student pursuing a degree in biology, natural resources, or related field
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to ambulate over rough terrain in summer temperatures exceeding 90 degrees (F)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
