Job Description
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of the Nursing Services in the medical unit, ensuring patient needs are met and adhering to hospital policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Must hold a current state license and must maintain license renewal in accordance with the standards of the State Board of Nursing
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
- Two years long term acute care experience is preferred
- Critical care experience preferred
- Minimum three years of progressive management experience
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
