Job Description
Riverflex is looking for a Senior Manager Data Engineering to lead data-driven transformation and shape the data engineering capability. The role involves leading complex client engagements, growing high-performing teams, and driving impactful, data-driven transformation across industries.
Requirements
- A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering roles
- Proven experience leading complex data engineering projects and technical teams
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, and distributed data processing frameworks
- Extensive experience with Azure and Databricks in enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of data modeling, lakehouse architectures, and modern data warehousing concepts
- Experience with real-time data ingestion, orchestration, and workflow management
- Strong background in DevOps/DataOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code
- Solid understanding of data governance, quality, security, and compliance
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
