Environmental Services Supervisor Hospital

The Environmental Services Supervisor oversees the team members day to day operation, creates work schedules, evaluates performance, and resolves employee complaints. Responsible for quality of work, productivity, morale, and adherence to facility and departmental policies.

Requirements

• Interviews, selects and onboards team members
• Provides training in accordance with RHS policies and regulatory environment of care standards
• Assists in maintaining a safe patient care environment
• Conducts inspections in area of responsibility daily
• Demonstrates and ensures team understands and responds effectively to suggestions and concerns
• Organizes the work of self and direct reports
• Ensures all employees demonstrate an acceptable level of competence
• AHA Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP) certification is preferred
