Physical Therapist Hospital: Shore Memorial Hospital

A Physical Therapist carries out an individualized program for patients with acute and chronic health conditions to maximize their quality of life and achieve their functional goals. Performs evaluations, determines PT diagnoses, and develops plan of care. Performs physical therapy procedures to aid in restoring function, improving mobility, relieving pain, improving health, and preventing or limiting permanent physical disability.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree, Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program (Required)
• Doctoral Degree, Physical Therapy (Preferred)
• Less than 1 year Patient Care experience (Preferred)
• License Physical Therapy (PT) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
