Ultrasonographer - as needed

The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound exams, responds to patient questions, and maintains daily operations of the ultrasound lab. The role involves imaging, clinical documentation, patient education, equipment maintenance, and quality assessment.

Requirements

• Uses imaging equipment and soundwaves to form images for diagnosis.
• Provides and maintains clinical documentation per scope of practice.
• Evaluates images for quality and interprets what image is captured.
• Maintains the ultrasound equipment and sterilizes the room.
• Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and material to ensure non-interruption of services.
• Understands and adheres to all applicable regulatory and accrediting standards.
