Job Description
The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides adult patient supervision in a treatment or educational milieu, assisting with activities of daily living, crisis intervention, and promoting a safe therapeutic environment. The role involves screening, assessment, treatment planning, and providing services related to behavioral and physical health, physical and emotional wellness, and prevention. This position offers input, treatment coordination, and contribution to a recovery-based environment.
Requirements
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- CPI Certification (90 days of employment)
- TB Test (12 months prior to employment)
- Fingerprint Clearance Card (application within 20 days of employment)
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize workload
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
