Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector at RK Industries, ensuring conformance with internal quality standards and external accreditation requirements, including ISO 9001, AISC, and ASME. Responsible for conducting inspections, collaborating with fabrication and production teams, and contributing to maintaining company certifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or related certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection, construction, or welding required.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of AISC, ASME, and ISO 9001 standards and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and WPS documentation.
• Experience with QA/QC software and Microsoft Excel; intermediate computer skills required (advanced proficiency preferred at Level II).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform structured, recurring tasks while adhering to established procedures and quality guidelines.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under general supervision.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Understanding of continuous improvement principles and active participation in Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
