Group Leader - Alaska

Road Scholar is seeking a Group Leader to present educational content and deliver high-quality program experiences for participants in Alaska. The role involves leading guided walks and hikes, providing evening and on-board lectures, and fostering a positive team environment. The ideal candidate has a wide knowledge base about Alaskan landscapes and content knowledge about geology, ecology, weather, and cultural history.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• CTP Certificate for Group Leaders or equivalent professional tourism experience
• 1+ years group leadership experience in an educational and/or travel program environment
• Ability to work with a team and collaborate and share best practices
• Strong leadership skills to build group cohesion
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving ability
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Benefits

• Hourly rates vary based on program location ($15.00 to $23.00 per hour plus tips)
