Roblox is seeking a passionate and experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented senior engineers focused on building cutting-edge Avatar technology and enhancing the user experience. The role involves overseeing complex projects, defining engineering processes, driving quality improvements, and maintaining a collaborative work environment. The team will support player growth through customizable avatar selection.
Requirements
- Proven track record of strong people management skills
- 5+ years in an engineering role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field
- Expert in 3D graphics, animation techniques, C++ and performance optimization
- Experience with state-of-the-art Avatar or Character animation systems
- Ability to contribute to and drive systems architecture design
- Effective at using and monitoring data and metrics
