Job Description
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR - WEEKENDS 2ND SHIFT. Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of department. Ensures that all direct reports follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety practices. Train and supervises Team Members on correct procedures to be used when making maintenance repairs.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations as it pertains to plant operation and maintenance.
- Ability to understand and operate the systems and equipment used at the facility; and, ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
- Ability to perform and analyze various system checks.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them appropriately; and, prepare maintenance schedules.
- Ability to work on a team and cooperate with others; positive attitude.
- Ability to work without supervision; self-motivation and self-direction.
- Ability to pay close attention to details; good analytical problem solving ability.
