On-Call Recovery Specialist

Play a critical role in leading our clients at our Rockbridge Treatment facility. As an On-Call Recovery Specialist, you will lead and supervise clients in the program, provide guidance and oversight of activities, and support their recovery journey.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must be free of problematic substance use for at least one year
• Strong ability to relate to and mentor people with life-controlling problems
• Ability to interpret bible verses and apply biblical knowledge
• Ability to pray out loud with clients and other staff
• Knowledge of the Alcoholics Anonymous 12 steps
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional client situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to confront clients with effectiveness
