Job Description
Rocketship Public Schools is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers (Mild/Moderate Support Needs) to provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students with disabilities. Educators work collaboratively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to create inclusive classrooms where all students can thrive. The role emphasizes a growth-oriented approach with coaching, professional development, and a commitment to behavior support and advocacy.
Requirements
- Hold a B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- Must hold Valid Practitioner License with a 144–145 Special Education Interventionist Endorsement
- Experience with special education, behavioral support, or related settings (preferred)
- Knowledge of special education law, IDEA compliance, and effective inclusion practices
