Job Description
Rocketship Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher (Education Specialist - Moderate/Severe Support Needs) to ensure students with significant support needs have access to excellent education. The role involves providing individualized instruction, managing a caseload, and collaborating with families, paraprofessionals, and general educators. Behavior support and ABA principles are central to the position.
Requirements
- Growth-oriented and eager to learn from feedback
- Experienced in supporting diverse learners, 2+ years experience in special education, behavioral support, or related settings (preferred)
- Collaborative and eager to build case management expertise
- Experience in behavior supports with an understanding of basic Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Equity-driven and resilient, committed to meaningful inclusion
- Valid B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
