Job Description
Rocketship Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and be knowledgeable about Special Education best practices, laws, and regulations. The role involves managing IEP caseloads, providing targeted academic and behavioral support, and collaborating with families and school teams to improve student outcomes.
Requirements
- Has experience with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Is knowledgeable about Special Education best practices, laws, and regulations
- Demonstrates an awareness of Special Education best practices, laws, and regulations in order to support students
- Familiar with multiple methods to support students with special needs with behavioral and social emotional needs
- A team player who collaborates cross functionally and can jump into a fast paced environment, working on multiple competing priorities daily
- Knowledge of ABA behavioral practices
