Job Description
Rockford Construction is seeking a Project Accountant to support the accounting operations of assigned construction projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, analytical, detail-oriented, and has a basic understanding of accounting principles.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting or a minimum of three years of accounting experience (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with ERP; Acumatica experience a plus
- Experience with Project Management software (Procore) a plus
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and supporting team success
