Backend Software Engineer (Part-Time / Contractor)

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience (with production-grade systems)
• Strong expertise in Python and Django
• Experience building applications that leverage GenAI APIs (e.g. OpenRouter, OpenAI, etc.)
• Uses Cursor/Claude by default and has built strong workflows to balance quality with productivity
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across time zones
• Experience working independently in a remote-first environment
