High School English Language Arts Teacher position at Rocky Mountain Prep, a college-preparatory school serving students from early childhood through twelfth grade in Denver, CO. Requirements
- Read and fall in love with the unit texts
- Write grade-level exemplars of writing tasks, diagnose writing, and efficiently give batch feedback
- Be a scholar of the Common Core Standards and the Science of Reading
- Champion our Accelerated Reading Goal and Reading Academy program
- Take ownership of student outcomes by setting high expectations, using data to guide instruction, and ensuring all scholars grow through strong planning, rigorous teaching, and timely re-teaching
