Job Description
Rocky Mountain Prep is seeking a Middle School Special Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. The teacher will develop, implement, and manage IEPs, conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, and deliver individualized instruction to students with mild/moderate special needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree (any subject)
- Current Colorado teaching license with a special education generalist (5-21) and/or special education specialist (5-21) endorsement(s)
- Pass a background check
- Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States
- Minimum two years of lead teaching experience (preferred)
- History of working with special needs populations (preferred)
- Understand ABC data collection (preferred)
- History of case management (preferred)
- CPI/NCI Trained (preferred)
