Mid Rigging Artist - UNDISCLOSED PROJECT - Expression of Interest

Mikros Animation is a global CGI animation creative studio seeking a Mid Rigging Artist to work on undisclosed projects. The role involves creating high-quality animation rigs, collaborating with the animation team, and contributing to the creation of a quality film. The ideal candidate has experience as a Rigging Artist in film production, animation, or visual effects, and proficiency in Autodesk Maya. Bilingual French and English skills are also required.

Requirements

• 1+ year experience as a Rigging Artist in a film production environment, animated TV series or visual effects
• Good understanding of the work processes of animation and modeling
• Good understanding of human and animal forms, as well as biomechanics and anatomy
• Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Maya
• Interest in and knowledge of new rigging technologies and techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as a team
• Fluency in English and French (bilingual)
• Blender knowledge (optional)
