Job Description
The Gluer Packer is responsible for packing products according to specifications, coordinating with the Gluer Operator, and maintaining the efficiency of the gluer machinery. The role requires teamwork, motivation, and attention to detail, with opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements
- Ability to observe and inform the gluer operator of any issues
- Coordinate with the gluer operator to ensure correct jobs are staged
- Demonstrate teamwork and motivation
- Match all collating marks and pack all cards in the same direction
- Understand line stop procedures
- Show consistent improvement on speed and ability to keep up with the line
- Familiarize self with the items being packed
- Organize and sort products according to size, color, or other specifications
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks and cleaning and lubricating the glue machinery
- Understand folder/gluer line metrics and goals
- Complete daily end of shift duties as assigned
- Ability to transition as an individual packer without relying on a trainer
