Job Description
Roku is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team at Roku. The role involves building scalable platforms, iterating on features, and ensuring the reliability of the Roku Channel and other services. The team is focused on improving the user experience, expanding content offerings, and innovating in the streaming industry. This is an early stage position with significant challenges ahead.
Requirements
- Strong software development experience (Java preferably, Python nice to have)
- Expertise in building large-scale cloud services (AWS preferable)
- Experience in data stores and trade-offs (Redis, Redis Cluster, Memcached)
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end architecture from end-user to service in a data center
- Master's degree in CS, CE, or equivalent experience
