Legal Assistant

Roland Foods is seeking a highly organized, motivated Legal Assistant to support the Roland Foods Legal Department. The Legal Assistant will manage and assist with many different aspects of the Roland Foods legal function, including the intellectual property portfolio, corporate registrations, ongoing litigation, food safety and regulatory compliance, international sales, maintaining files, and fielding inquiries from company employees.

Requirements

• Support the Legal Department’s day-to-day and strategic needs, serving all business teams
• Prepare and file regulatory license applications and corporate governance documents
• Assist with regulatory compliance tasks
• Organize and maintain legal files
• Assist with managing the company’s intellectual property portfolio
• Respond to fact-based inquiries from internal parties on contract terms
• Conduct research on key legal and regulatory issues
