Job Description
St. Augustine High School is accepting applications for two ENGLISH LANGUAGE INSTRUCTORS for the 2026-2027 school year. One position English 10 and the other a blend of AP English Language and traditional English Language studies. The role involves teaching high school English and Advanced Placement English Language, as well as participating in faculty and related meetings. The school is looking for a Christian role model with a degree from an accredited four-year institution and a strong background in English.
Requirements
- Possesses a degree from an accredited four-year institution with a major or strong minor in English and the ability to teach at the high school level.
- Has knowledge of the educational materials and methods for teaching English at the secondary level.
- An expertise in teaching writing to the high school learner.
- Demonstrates a personal commitment to the philosophy of a Catholic education.
- Secondary teaching credential and/or Master’s degree desired.
- Experience Teaching Advanced Placement English Language or Literature.
