Technology/STEAM Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year

Requirements

• Religious Qualifications: Active, practicing Roman Catholic (preferred)
• Core Competencies: Understand and support Diocese ’s mission and philosophy and to promote a positive image of the school and the Catholic faith.
• Professional Qualifications: Possess a cleared California multiple subject teaching credential (preferred)
• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree
• Clear criminal background check (a clear Livescan for the Diocese of San Diego is a condition of employment)
• Experience teaching in an elementary school classroom
• Positive professional references and recommendations
• Expert level of technology and 21st century learning understanding and application.
• Deep knowledge of content standards, effective instructional strategies, and assessment driven instruction.
• Strong Google Apps for Education skills (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites, etc.).
• Experience, but not limited to: 3D printing, software, Mac and PC.
• Highly effective communication, listening, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Effective written, verbal, and technology-based communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Spend the majority of the day standing in the classroom.
