Senior Backend Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help drive backend architecture to the next stage of Roofr's systems and contribute to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle. As an Engineer in an early-stage and high-growth company, you will have a large impact on both technical implementation and help steer our technology roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency with PHP language & Laravel framework
• Champion of agile methodologies
• Track record of breaking down complex problems as incremental solutions
• Proactively recommends initiatives to improve our engineering technologies and culture
• Excellent communication skills and appreciates the value of good documentation
• Understanding of early-stage company priorities
