Job Description
Roofstock is seeking a Safety Specialist to develop and implement a comprehensive workplace safety program, oversee fleet operations, and build a proactive 'Safety First' culture. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in Occupational Safety/Health and a deep working knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards. This is a remote position based in one of three metro areas: Dallas, TX; Tampa, FL; or Atlanta, GA. Occasional travel is expected.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Occupational Safety/Health (EHS), workplace safety, or a closely related discipline.
- Deep working knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards and multi-state regulatory compliance.
- OSHA-30 certification (or equivalent/superior credential such as CSP or CDS, with willingness to obtain OSHA-30 within 90 days if not held).
- Proven experience building safety programs, writing SOPs, and conducting workplace hazard assessments.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Proven ability to influence behavior and drive cultural change across all levels of an organization.
