Job Description
Rossum is seeking a Senior AI Research Engineer to join their AI Research Team (R&D). The ideal candidate will push the boundaries of document understanding, training advanced models and building research prototypes to directly shape Rossum's product capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in applied ML research, ML engineering, or deep learning–driven product development.
- Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Scientific rigor and strategic execution, with the ability to design strong experiments and turn research ideas into scalable, production-grade systems.
- Deep insight into training NLP and vision models, including architecture design, large-scale experimentation, and deployment trade-offs.
- Ownership and curiosity, staying close to global research while driving in-house innovation end to end.
