Job Description
The Staff Accountant is a member of the accounting team and responsible for assisting in the accounting processes of the Rote Oil and other entities.
Requirements
- Enter data into software
- Process accounts payable invoices, record checks and EFTs
- Answer vendor inquiries regarding payment
- Reconcile different types of accounts
- Reconcile daily fuel inventory
- Assist in the Month Close Process
- Reconcile bank statements
- Process journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with bookkeeping duties
- Maintain an organized filing system for documents and reports
- Complete additional duties as assigned by Management
