Job Description
Rotork is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Chennai, India. The successful candidate will have a thorough working knowledge of solid modeling, design calculations, and analysis, as well as experience working with electric actuators, fluid power, and gearboxes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-6 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in nuclear or other highly regulated industries
- Working knowledge of electric actuators, gears, and mechatronic integration for safety-critical applications
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Solid Edge, AutoCAD) and experience with PLM systems under strict configuration control
- Familiarity with FEA tools, FMEA, and nuclear design verification techniques
