Requirements
- Assist with design solutions following vehicle requirements with direct engagement of internal and external customers
- Learn and follow industry standards to optimize packaging and retention strategies
- Maintain the packaging of electrical components in a 3D environment and support regular design reviews with internal and external customers
- Assist the design, development, and release of vehicle harness assembly prints using EDS tools
- Support electrical system compatibility reviews and sign-off on wire harness prints
- Support overall electrical development, BOM creation, and harness/vehicle builds
- Support and maintain the development of DFMEA, DVP and supporting documentation
- Act as a liaison with the program team, CAE analysis group, suppliers, and assembly for all design responsible parts
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and document vehicle level electrical issues and perform root cause analysis
- Support test plans and perform analytical circuit functionality tests
