Automation Technician

Ascenza is seeking an Automation Technician to join their team. The successful candidate will identify opportunities for improvement in automation and control, implement new technologies, and ensure the maintenance and correct functioning of equipment.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Automation, Control and Instrumentation or Automation, Robotics and Industrial Maintenance or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in industrial process automation and continuous improvement techniques
• Solid knowledge of PLC programming (preferably Omron), HMI consoles, inverters and supervisory systems
• Knowledge of Aveva/Wonderware Historian (preferred)
• Knowledge of robotics
• Planning skills
• Ability to analyze and implement new technologies and continuous improvement
