The Senior Energy Marshal is responsible for overseeing and enforcing the energy control program at the data center construction project in Temple, TX, ensuring safe energization, methodical change management, and alignment with organizational standards for operational discipline.
Requirements
- College/university/professional degree in Electrical, Industrial, Process Engineering, or related work experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Licensed Electrician in mission critical facilities.
- 8-10+ years of experience with industrial or commercial field engineering in mission critical facilities and medium and low voltage electrical infrastructures.
- 8-10+ years of experience developing and supporting programs in electrical safety in alignment with NFPA70E, National Electrical Code (NEC), and OSHA requirements as it relates to Data Center best practices.
- 8-10+ years of experience in the Control of Hazardous Energy in complex mission critical infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience developing and enforcing energy safety programs in a data center or equivalent high-risk setting.
- Strong experience with the operation and maintenance of building MEP systems.
- Established understanding of electrical theory and practical application via your maintenance & operation of critical electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of construction techniques, terminology, and documentation.
- Expert in reading and understanding of electrical single line drawings.
- Practical experience with building management systems and automation, controls & frameworks.
- Exceptional procedural writing, review, approval, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to operate with independence, judgment, and accountability in high-stakes operational settings.
- Skilled collaborator with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders across functions and disciplines.
- Background in military, federal security, or critical infrastructure environments.
