Requirements

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties
• Disassemble defective electrical equipment
• Thread conduit ends
• Examine electrical units for loose connections
• Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings
• Clean work area and wash parts
• Dig trenches or holes
• Strip insulation from wire ends
• Trace out short circuits in wiring
• Install copper-clad ground rods
• Break up concrete
• Erect electrical system components
• Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies
• Construct controllers and panels
• Raise, lower, or position equipment, tools, and materials
