Job Description
The Engineering Intern will have an opportunity to learn and/or use basic engineering and lean manufacturing principles, theories, and concepts.
Requirements
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a regionally accredited college or university program leading to a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or other science or technology related major
- Good academic standing expected
- Manufacturing process support
- Manufacturing process analysis and design
- Oral and written communications of analytic results and creation of formal report
- Study, and analyze plant assembly processes
- Develop and document plant assembly processes
- Flexibility to address special projects as they arise
- Assist in continuous improvement efforts focusing on: Quality improvements, Line balance optimization, Safety/ergonomic improvements, Overall efficiency improvements
