Job Description
The Railroad Tie Financial Controller is responsible for participating in all business unit finance and plant controllership activities at our railroad tie business unit located in Bunker, MO.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of manufacturing accounting experience required
- CPA or CPA in-process a plus
- CMA or CMA in-process a plus
- Prior experience as plant controller required
- Standard costing experience required
- Inventory costing, valuation and control experience is required
- Experience with ERP systems required with experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
- Ability to work effectively with departments/production facilities/associates across Company
- Detail oriented and demonstrates commitment to accuracy
- Highly proficient in MS excel (e.g., data manipulation, pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
- Proactive mindset that seeks continuous process improvement
- Takes initiative
- High-energy individual with a passion for the company and this role
- Ability to multi-task, balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong achievement focuses and commitment to deliver results
