Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Overview

Join our Engineering team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, responsible for coordinating and leading bespoke Engineering projects across various markets. Based in Newcastle, you'll provide technical leadership and supervision to a team of Engineers.

What You Will Do

Take ownership of design projects, provide technical guidance, and lead the Engineering project team to deliver projects on time, budget, and to specification.

Requirements

• Experience in a multi-disciplinary design environment
• In-depth knowledge of design and manufacture of trenchers, cable/pipe lay, LARS, and bespoke Onshore and Offshore equipment
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and engineering design techniques
• Ability to provide technical guidance and lead the Engineering project team
• Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
• Good communications and presentation skills
