Job Description
RSM is looking for a supervisor to join our Accounting and Finance Consulting (AFC) team. The Supervisor will assist in the AFC practice and work with teams of technical accounting on different engagements in area of Business Combination Accounting, New Accounting Standard Implementation, Capital Market Readiness and Audit readiness.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant/CPA with minimum of 4 years of technical accounting experience.
- Understanding of audit services with mediocre to in-depth knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Experience (Intermediate to advanced level) with any or all of following GAAP standards preferred: ASC 805, 606, 842, 280, 810, 815, 718, 323, 325, 480 and IFRS 3, 9, 10, IAS 28, 32
- Experience in leading projects for mergers and acquisitions accounting (business combinations)
- Lead the review of technical memos and other disclosures on engagements
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in drafting sections of Form F1, F4, 10-K, 10-Q, S-1, S4
- PCAOB financial statement uplift and Audit Readiness assistance
- Strong communication, interpersonal and client management skills
- Strong business development and marketing skills
