The Supplier Quality Engineer will boost quality assurance throughout RTC’s manufacturing lifecycle by supporting the development and implementation of robust quality standards and processes. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough inspections, diagnosing root causes of non-conformance, and collaborating with diverse teams to execute corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field preferred; can be replaced with an ASQ Certification or at least 3 years of direct QE experience.
- 3-5 years of experience working in a quality role within a manufacturing or similar environment is encouraged.
- Understanding of engineering principles, including the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications along with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Hands-on experience with inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, vision systems, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration abilities and strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Must have exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
