Job Description
The Transit Police Sergeant is responsible for supervising the activities of Transit Police Officers and enforcing Colorado State law. The position requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of full-time experience in law enforcement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, management, criminal justice or related field
- Minimum of five years of full-time experience in law enforcement
- Current licensure and certification through Colorado P.O.S.T. or ability to obtain a provisionary Colorado P.O.S.T. certificate
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Ability to use sound judgment
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively
