Material Program Manager

Role Overview

The Material Program Manager (MPM) role requires strong leadership skills with demonstrated project management experience. The MPM is accountable for overall supplier management, performance and success. This role is responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies and ensuring organizational and program objectives are achieved.

What You Will Do

Drive processes to successful completion in support of a very aggressive schedule of deliveries, oversee GSC proposal execution performance and reporting, provide MRP support and production alignment in support of Operations execution, and manage multiple conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Earned Value Management (EVM), supplier management, project management, and/or program management, as well as experience working in the defense industry within the supply chain function.

Requirements

• Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 6 years’ experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in supplier management, project management and/or program management
• Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project)
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
