Mechanical Engineer II

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to work in the Advanced Airframes Department within Raytheon Hardware Engineering. The position will be located on site in Tucson, Arizona and will perform design and development associated with mechanical designs, validation principals, design verification and qualification tests, hardware procurement, and transition to production processes across a design life cycle.

Requirements

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
• 2 years of professional experience in mechanical design, development, and/or test
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), basic tolerance analyses, and drawing practices and interpretation for mechanical hardware
• Experience with CAD design tools
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written
