The Mechanical Engineer II - Structural Engineer is an onsite position in Tucson, AZ, responsible for performing detailed structural analyses and generating test plans to validate and verify hardware compliance to customer requirements. The role requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. The salary range for this role is $68,900 - $131,100.
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- Experience in structural analysis with any of the following tools: PATRAN, NASTRAN, ANSYS, ABAQUS, or equivalent software
- Working knowledge of mechanical principles to solve classical structural engineering problems both inside and outside of software tools
- Work in a collaborative, team-based environment and independently
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, Clearance must be active and transferable prior to start date
